Procedures required when replacing old SBC with SM400 series mass pro
) D1 B% g' g4 l# ^duction SBC.
; a, Y2 N" U' M& H1. Backup MMI fold of the existing equipment into D or E drive.
4 U0 M, v: y+ n2 |5 P2 s2. Disconnect old SBC from rack.
8 o  g6 o; u0 ?% H; G) _3. Disconnect cooler and memory from old SBC.
: s! o3 P) @) O2 T: T4. Install new CPU at new SBC and assemble cooler disconnected from the existing SBC.
(Never use Intel Cooler included in the box CPU because of weak durability.)
5 b: `4 S1 Y9 S+ I9 y5. Mount the memory disconnected from old SBC.
, b7 @: Q  N' Z6. Assemble SBC at rack and install the supplied Com Port bracket, if the facility uses IT,
8 s% C& L7 ^9 l7 N4 pand connect it to SBC Com Port Connector.
$ C( a. [7 F9 d$ [7. Receive SM400 Series XP Embedded SP3 ISO file from KT Hard, built Recovery DVD, and
then install only OS at C drive of hard disk.
8. After a completion of Recovery and PnP process, reboot again and install MMI.
' w% v9 u! h* @5 G$ g2 F9. Overwrite system/PCB folder of back-up MMI into C:\SmartMMI.
